What is Devcon?
Every year since 2014, the Ethereum Foundation has put together the annual gathering that is Devcon. Whether it’s your first time learning about Ethereum or blockchain as a whole; or you’ve been around the “block” with years of experience, Devcon is the conference to attend with a wide range of programming and breakout sessions.
Devcon attracts #buidlers from all around the world and range from developers, designers, researchers, client implementers, test engineers, infrastructure operators, community organizers, social economists, and artists.
Devcon 5 will be held on Oct 8 – Oct 11, 2019 in Osaka, Japan with 4 days filled with workshops, lectures, meetings, and more.
Devcon attracts top tier speakers in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space such as Vitalik Buterin, Vlad Zamfir, Joseph Lubin, Sergey Nazarov and many more. Here is the lineup of speakers, discussions, and presentations that will be going on during Devcon.
Hydro Labs Attends Devcon Japan
2019 has been an amazing year for Hydro Labs with the first production of Hydro Pay, the Hydro dApp Store, and our strategic remittance partnership with Liquid Exchange to help offer the lowest fees in the world. We’re also going to be releasing some pretty cool innovative products over the next couple of months, so be on the lookout for those as well!
At Devcon, Hydro Labs will be represented by Mark Anstead, who is the Director of Business Development. While at Devcon, Mark and team Hydro Labs have recently announced a partnership with OMG to bring scalable, instant, and gas-less transactions to Hydro Pay! You can check out the transactions in action at the OmiseGO booth at Devcon and see the first implementation of plasma being tested on Hydro Pay. If you’d like to schedule an appointment with Mark, please send him a message via email to set something up: [email protected]
Quote from Mark – “I look forward to traveling to Japan and speaking with the many Ethereum developers and companies looking to learn more about the Hydro ecosystem as well as helping them to build on top of Hydro. Devcon is by far the largest Ethereum conference and we look forward to representing our community and meeting with prospective customers and partners.”
Hydro Labs looks forward to continuing to develop enterprise-level blockchain products that makes it “easier” for the masses to onboard and use using our powerful ERC-1484 identity standard for identity linked solutions.
